A GPT checker scored Dixon's book near 0%, reading it as human-written. A friend ran Chris Dixon's book Read Write Own through a GPT checker, and it scored about 0%, so it read as not machine-written.

Dixon had tried ChatGPT on the book and found it good technology but not his voice or quality. He would use AI as a copilot for tactical edits, not to write. His warning: "if you have the machine do all of it, you're going to at least for the near term lose the voice and the humanity of it".
