A journal you can zoom from a year to a day
Caddie's journal is a daily journal you can zoom: write today's entry, then zoom out to the week, the month and the year, each with a summary of what you wrote, and back in to any day. It sits next to your notes, tasks and calendar, so you can see what you did beside what you wrote, and you can dictate entries by holding fn on your Mac.

How it works
- Write today. Type, or hold fn on your Mac and talk.
- Zoom out. Week, month and year views summarize your entries.
- Zoom back in. Open any day from the year in two clicks.

Zoom, don't scroll
Most journal apps are a long list of entries. Caddie's journal is a zoom: a year of summaries, then a month, a week, a day. Looking back is a few clicks, not an evening of scrolling.
Next to the rest of your day
Your journal is pinned beside your notes, with tasks and calendar a click away, so writing about the day starts from what actually happened.
Stays yours
In a team workspace, notes and tasks can be shared; the journal never is.
What it doesn't do yet
- No photos, places or weather attached automatically, as Day One does.
- Summaries need an AI provider set up.
