Agents that work while you don't, on your own Claude Code or Codex
Caddie turns your own Claude Code and Codex accounts into agents that work for you on your Mac. Give an agent a task or a routine ("every Monday, send me last week's signups"); it uses your MCP tools, your Chrome or its own browser, and your notes, and it asks you only when it needs you. The Agents inbox sorts every agent by who needs you, and the iPhone app lets you answer, stop or approve from anywhere.

How it works
- Make an agent. Name it, give it a job, pick Claude Code or Codex and which tools it can use.
- Hand it work. A task, a routine on a schedule, or a Linear ticket assigned to it.
- Answer when asked. It asks before anything that sends, pays, deletes or posts, in the notch or on your phone.

Your account, not ours
Agents run on the Claude Code or Codex you already pay for, on your Mac, so there's no second AI bill and your code and files stay where they are.
One inbox for every agent
Every agent's threads in one list, sorted by who needs you, each with a short line on what it needs: an answer, an OK on a draft, a review.
Agents that remember and learn
A pinned note, "What Caddie knows about you", gives every agent the same facts about you, and agents can save a job they did as a skill to reuse. They can ask each other for help and hand out up to ten pieces of work at once.
Asks before it acts
The first time an agent wants your Chrome, and before a click that sends, pays, deletes or posts, it asks you in the notch. Phone tools (your location, a photo) need a tap on the phone.
Drive it from outside Caddie
Through Caddie's MCP server, your own Claude Code, Codex or T3 Code can start an agent's task, follow it, reply in it or stop it.
What it doesn't do yet
- Agents run in the Mac app and need Claude Code or Codex set up on that Mac.
- When the Mac is asleep or off, agents wait; there's no cloud runner yet.
- Using the Mac's other apps by itself (computer use) is still an experiment.
Questions people ask
Do I need a Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
You need Claude Code or Codex set up on your Mac, on the plan you already have. Caddie doesn't charge for the AI.
Can agents run on a schedule?
Yes. Routines run an agent's task on a schedule and show the results as cards.
Can I approve things from my phone?
Yes. The iPhone app shows your agents, their chats and what they're waiting on.
Is this the same as OpenClaw?
Similar idea, different shape: Caddie's agents live next to your notes, tasks and calendar and run on your Claude Code or Codex. OpenClaw is open source and reached from many chat apps.
