Turn a note into a narrated explainer
Caddie can turn any note into a short explainer: a narrated walk through its ideas with visuals drawn for each one, played right on the note and on its shared page. It's for when you'd rather listen and watch than read, or want to send someone the idea of a long note in two minutes. Your first explainer is voiced on Caddie; after that you add your own ElevenLabs key, and any explainer can play with captions instead of a voice.

How it works
- Open a note. Your own, a meeting's notes, or notes Caddie made from a video.
- Make the explainer. Caddie writes the narration and draws a visual for each idea.
- Play or share. It plays on the note; share the note and visitors can play it too.
Explainers in Caddie, at a glance
| From | Any note, meeting notes or video notes |
|---|---|
| Voice | ElevenLabs: your first explainer on Caddie, then your own key; captions without a voice |
| Visuals | Drawn for each idea, in a few styles |
| Sharing | Plays on the note's shared page |
Like an audio overview, for your own notes
NotebookLM made audio overviews popular for documents you upload. Caddie's explainers come from the notes you already have, and they show visuals with the narration instead of only audio.
Made from your notes, not the web
The narration follows what's in the note, so an explainer of a meeting says what was actually decided, and one of a podcast's notes follows its chapters.
Shared pages play it
When you share a note as a page, its explainer plays for visitors too, voiced on your terms.
What it doesn't do yet
- Narration uses ElevenLabs: after the first explainer, you need your own key (or play it with captions).
- There's a daily limit on narration with Caddie's key.
Questions people ask
Is it like NotebookLM's Audio Overviews?
It's similar: a spoken overview of your material. Caddie's is made from your own notes, shows visuals as it narrates, and plays on a shared page.
Do I need an ElevenLabs account?
Not for your first explainer. After that, add your own key, or play explainers with captions.
Can I explain a YouTube video?
Yes: make notes of the video first, then make an explainer of the notes.
