Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Caddie, the Mac app and web app made by Sriharsha Garlapati ("we"). By creating an account or using Caddie, you agree to them.
Your account
You need an account to use Caddie. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
Your content
What you put in Caddie (notes, tasks, journal entries, recordings and everything else) is yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, sync and show it to you and to the people you choose to share it with. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy.
Recording meetings
Caddie can record and transcribe meetings. Recording rules differ by place and some require everyone's consent. You're responsible for telling the people in a call and getting their consent where the law requires it.
AI features
Caddie uses the AI provider you choose (Claude Code, Codex or a Claude API key) under your own account and that provider's terms. AI-written notes, plans, summaries and suggestions can be wrong or incomplete; check anything important before you rely on it.
Connected services
When you connect Google Calendar, Linear, Granola or other services, your use of them is also governed by their own terms. Caddie only acts on them in the ways described in the Privacy Policy and when you ask it to.
Acceptable use
Don't use Caddie to break the law, to record people unlawfully, to share content you don't have the right to share, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
Price and changes
Caddie is free right now. We may add paid features later; we'll tell you before anything you use starts costing money. We may change or stop features, and we'll give reasonable notice before shutting down the service so you can export your data.
No warranty
Caddie is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that data will never be lost. Keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Caddie. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it (currently nothing).
Ending
You can stop using Caddie and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Caddie after that means you accept them.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
