What was said about Lingo Pingo
Lingo Pingo copied a viral format instead of inventing one. The app's TikTok format showed a person crying over a word while the app roasts them. It was borrowed from a Google Translate trend and reached about 20 million views overnight.
It ran through October and November in about 15 variations. The advice drawn from it is to find a trend that already works on the platform (or a popular subreddit like Roast Me) and show how your product fits it. Noise reached number five and number seven in its category the same way. Quote: "We don't have to be super creative. We just have to have a good eye for what's already gone viral".
