Stitch hit a clear product-market fit moment that the Labs team swarmed. Josh Woodward, VP of Google Labs, names Stitch alongside Nano Banana on Gemini, NotebookLM podcasts and Flow as products where fit was obvious once it arrived, and the team ended up swarming it and holding on for dear life.

Woodward says early fit is more art than science and that teams should fall in love with the problem, since finding a product can take three, four or five pivots. He calls the swarm after a hit "so exhausting and so fun."
