A messaging app used here to negotiate with creators.
Telegram served as the channel for negotiating with creators, chosen over email for fast chat, large MP4 files and signed contracts. That flow produced 200 to 300 creatives with signed contracts, and $100 up-front payments led to only one or two creators vanishing. Lesson: use a fast chat channel and a small upfront payment to build trust; the fraud risk was low.
From Alex on Telegram creator negotiation
Move creator negotiation from email into a Telegram group. After a creator replies by email, a VA sends a pre-recorded video from the founder and moves them into a Telegram group. This flow produced 200 to 300 creatives with signed contracts.
Telegram handles back-and-forth chat, large MP4 files and signed contracts better than email, and phone notifications keep creators responsive. The document of hooks and triggers is shared there too. In Alex's words, "back and forth chatting and negotiation happens better better on on Telegram".

Sending creators $100 up front gets them onto Telegram and proves the deal is real. Once a creator looks promising, about $100 is sent before the work starts. It shows the deal is not a scam, and creators download Telegram because they expect to earn more, such as another 1000 bucks. Only one or two creators took the money and vanished.
Alex treats the occasional loss as a cost of doing business. The point is that creators "would feel that it wasn't a scam and they were weren't wasting their time."
