What was said about Dazz
Natural cloned a top Dazz Cam post to launch a campaign fast. Natural, a camera app competing with Dazz, scraped Dazz's top five posts and cloned a camera-plus-flash slideshow that named Dazz through comment seeding. The cloned campaign reached about 100,000 organic views, about $1,000 in downloads and about 200 signups in five days.
The workflow was to scrape a competitor's top five posts, pick one, swap in your own logo or demo, and generate variations. Image variations run in parallel, so 20 take about as long as four. The whole process took about six to seven minutes: "this entire process like was probably in total around six to seven minutes".
Create New Accounts dialog: 5 accounts yield 15 posts per day per platform, ~20.0k daily impressions, ~10 hours saved weekly.
